Honours Program
An honours degree in nanotechnology to provide research training is being developed, and was delivered for the first time in 2005. It is, as far as we know, the first program of its type in Australia or worldwide. It is intended as a continuation for our nanotechnology undergraduates and as a stand-alone program for other science/technology students. The emphasis is on developing a high degree of technical knowledge in materials-based nanotechnology via coursework, sound scientific methodology, practical skills and a deep understanding of industrial applications via an extensive research project.
